This private land free range hunting is by far the best for Tahr and over the 2009 season seen 8 bulls over 13 inchs taken from it.

There is also the option of a High Fence hunt for Tahr there if the mountain terrain is to demanding on your fittness level.

The High Fence has huge bulls in it with many in the top ten in the world coming from there.14 inchs is not uncommon.

Hunt South Canterbury Ranch

World renown Bull Tahr hunts with monster Red and Fallow Stags makes this an exciting option. The views are second to none. This Ranch is exclusive to Southern Hunting Safaris and last season taking huge bull tahr.

Hunt South Canterbury Foothills

This is strictly a hunting estate.

Clayton Station is an outstanding hunting ranch.One of the biggest hunting areas in the South Island it has top Red Stag ,Fallow and Tahr hunting.

The area has lots of scrub for bow hunting and has this season seen some world class animals taken from it.Including a bow hunted stag scoring 500plus.

Hunting here is a real challenge

Hunt South Canterbury Mountains

There is no other property like this. Sporting free range Red Stag Bull Tahr, Buck Chamois, Fallow Buck and Wild Boar.

This hunt is set in the rugged mountains close to the east coast of the South Island. Not many can hunt this very unique ranch as its shear mountain faces prove tuff to any hunter. But hunt hard and you will be rewarded with unbelievable trophy animals.

Hunt Canterbury

Glenthorne is a misted hunter paradise. Set in the beautiful Rakaia George.

This hunting area is strictly free range. Red Stag inhabit the wonderful land and are hard of hunting.
